Hook: I think I should go to survivor 2022

Opinion: I think survivor is good for me

Main Idea 1: because then I will get the experience for when we have survivors next year

In detail, we can learn new skills like bush safety, emergency shelter, bird monitoring, hut rules, and hiking for a long time

Main idea 2: it will be a cool thing because then it will be a good memory and it would teach us how to make shelters

Detail, swimming with my friends, spotlight, making smores, hanging out with my friends staying fit, and having a good time 

Conclusion (say my opinion again and main points) I should go to survivor 2022 because there will be a lot of fun and I will learn a lot of survivor skills. Also, my fitness level will improve

Hi mum and dad,

I and my class are going to Waima forest for survivor night and it will be a good experience for me.

I think survivor night is good for me because we get a new experience of how we can learn about bush safety, emergency shelters, bird monitoring, hut rules, and hiking for a long time with a big bag on.

Another reason I think is that it will be a good memory to tell everyone and it would teach us how to make shelters and how to survive in the wild. Then we can have a swim, play spotlight, make smores, hang out, and stay fit. On this adventure, we are going to do Sir’s challenges for example ninja line, brain freeze, bush tucker, and chili challenge.

I should go to survivor 2022  because there will be a lot of activities. We can learn a lot of new survival skills. Also, it will help us with our fitness level. 

I can learn to be organized for survivor night. This experience will be worthwhile for my fitness level. Hiking with a backpack, up a hill is good training and would help me with my body strength and my brain. I think it is going to be a Tremendous time at Waima forest. Mum I know I am lazy at home but can you please let me go with my class to survivor night it will help me with cooking my own food and will help me by doing stuff for myself.

So come on mum and dad, let me go, please.

Devotion Refection

 This week we read the parable of the three servants

The parable is about three servants and God gave them each a different amount of silver one of the servant five bags of silver he then came back with ten bags of silver the other servant got two bags of silver and then came back with four bags of silver the last servant got one bag of silver and decided to buried the silver.

The parable taught about why God has given us talents and how he wants us to use the talents that he gave us.

I apply my talents by developing. My talents are linguistic intelligence, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, and musical intelligence.

Jonah Gets Angry At Gods Forgiveness

In class we have been learning about forgiveness. Today we learn about Jonah's reaction Forgiveness to God

WALT use study the bible to gain an understanding that we all need  God's help, mercy, love and we are all called us to forgive others.
 
The Bible records many stories about "forgiving". The Lord Jesus also taught us like this: when we forgive men when they sin against us, our heavenly father will also forgive us. However, it's hard to forgive from our hearts. With God’s help you can forgive. 
 
Your assignment is to research "forgiving", in the bible and share what you learned. You will need to use reference material such as biblegateway.com or search engines to locate stories of forgiveness in the Bible.

Thirst

 In class we read Thirst, our task was to make up own ending to the story 
I think I have done the following well:
Something I still need to work on is more figurative language understanding by 2A, Boy sentences,3 bad dashes, Direct speech,wow words and variety sentences.

¨Ryder!"dad shouted once more. Ryder heard him. What shall he do? He wondered what his parents would do to him if they ever found out. So Rhyder had to do something very fast so he started thinking what he should do. As he was looking around trying to find somewhere to hide he saw a tall figure coming down the steep stairs. So Ryder found a woodrod he could hide in so he ceekly hoped in and he was as scared as a cat getting chased by a bear.You little ugly,stupid,throught less boy-as dad yelled at Ryder. When Ryder peeked throuh the little whole in the wardrobe he saw dad and he was very angry at Ryder for what Ryder was doing. When dad was yelling at Ryder mum was getting worried. 

The next day dad seen Ryder and ask for forgiveness for yelling at him and saying all the hurtful words about him. So they all became thieves and was stilling water from other people. So they started to sell them to people that were in the same town as them. Because the lawn was parched, Ryder thought taking the water wasnt really a bad decision.

After Ryder went out side to take a breath. He realized that stealing form people is not right so he went to the neighbor and apologized to them. When he went over he saw a snarling dog and he got terrified but luckly the dog was on a chain. So he went inside so he could meet with mr porky and mrs baken. They were so disappointed  when they saw Ryder. When Ryder told them that he was the one that stole there water from them. They got very angry so Ryder asked them to forgive him. So Mr. porky and mrs baken forgave him.

 I have been learning to use show not tell to make my narrative interesting. I do this I tried to have to describe what characters think and feel. This is a story I changed 

THE BIG RUGBY GAME

Orientation sports field and characters Two brothers) Problem do not get along - ones adventurous -  they act like good brothers

. There were once two brothers who were not at all alike. One was addicted to video games and a total game freak and the other was an in it to win it, person, he is a really sporty guy. Tom was big, fit, healthy, fast, and brave he was the team captain. Jerry was weak, unfit, and scared of being hurt and bullied by his team and older brother, but he was the smartest on his team on how to play rugby but was very unfit. 

 

2. One afternoon their Mother dropped them off at their rugby game. The team was getting ready but jerry was scared tom said: “get up you lazy boy and get ready to play”. They all went out and started to play. the big brother started to get scared because the other team was bigger and filter than the big brother. 

3. The big brother got bold over a few times but still fin they played and played and played until the big brother got hit and fainted so the little brother got up fear stabbed his hurt well he got up but his brother told him I believe in you so he started to play he played untill the game ended.

4. The little brother went to check on his big brother and he was fine. The little brother ran up to the big brother and gave him a big hug the big brother said “I never thought you had it in you”.

How healthy are you?

 In class, we are learning what it means to be healthy. I learned that if you are healthy in your body you might be sick in your mind or your emotions.

It's So Cold

 In class we do a 'Cold Task' to find out what we already know. Our cold task was on narrative writing. This is a snap shot of what I can do in 30 mins by myself. 

We are learning to self-assess our writing so we know what we are good at and what we need to work on. 

What I want to improve on is I want to improve in my writing by using figurative language.

One night tai and my cousin were playing a game called man hunt and tai was running after my cousin.But then when my cousin got clouse to the pool he discited to jump and he made it.but because tai was behind my cousin she tried to jump over the pool as well but when she went to go and jump she fell right in the pool.

Intro 

In class I have been reading a book called Hatchet and the author’s name is Gary Paulsen and this book is about a boy called Brain Robeson.Hatchet the book is mostly about a boy called  Brain Robson that is thirteen years old.Brian Robeson is on his way to visit his father then the plane crashes in the Canadian wilderness then he finds himself with only the hatchet that his mum gave him for a present.

I think the author's message is that it’s great to have hope and never give up. When the plane crashes he was so hurt that he could barely move but he still had hope in himself.

My favorite part in the story was when Brain started to make traps and staff that he could carry around
